Wool whip binding is a method which uses Wool, this is overlocked onto the edge of carpet to create an appealing edge.

Tape Binding

We also offer tape binding as an alternative to a wool whipped edge. Tape binding is used to edge stair runners to make them unique and more attractive for your home. Tape binding works the same as a whipped edge as it prevents the carpet edges from fraying and unravelling. Tape binding is a narrow strip of fabric which is stitched to the edge of carpets to create a modern finish to a staircase. It is made of cotton or polyester and comes in a variety or colours to match your carpet.
